All Areas Demolition Excavation are proud to announce that we have been selected as the preferred contractor for the upgrade of the Armidale Catholic Precinct by David Payne Constructions.

This is a large scale project involving staged demolition, asbestos removal and recovery & inventory of removed fittings to be re-used in the upgrade. As these are very old buildings, the heritage value of the fittings is of the utmost consideration.

In undertaking this project, the Diocese is ensuring the restoration and preservation of this unique and outstanding heritage site and providing a platform for the use of the buildings for many years to come. Once completed, the Chancery Office, Catholic Schools Office & Armidale Diocesan Investment Group will all be located within the precinct. The Cathedral Parish will also have a dedicated parish centre for offices, meeting rooms & other facilities in the current Bishop’s House.

This project gets underway as the Armidale Catholic Parish prepare to celebrate the centenary of the Cathedral & will ensure the preservation of the buildings & fittings for future generations.
