All Areas Demolition Excavation were selected to carry out the demolition and removal of the old sewer pump station located in Mertin St, Bourke, western NSW.

The works involved included:

• Demolition of building on top of existing pump station including, roofing, windows, handrails, internal fitout and alike
• Demolition of existing monorail crane structure
• Demolition of existing concrete masonry odour control structure
• Demolition of the pump station lid/roof and external walls.
•  Demolition of all internal pipework, handrails, ladders, pit covers, pump pedestals and rails
• Demolition of existing inner well and landings
• Demolition of the dividing walls which separates the base of the pump station in two
• Demolition of the ‘V’ drain at the base of the pump station
• Excavation to expose and remove/demolish the pipe entering the valve pit and the existing rising main entering the pump station
